Election Diary-A Tale of
Two Countries is a cartoon animation film created by artist Fauzia Minallah. It
is about her moments of sadness, joy, amusement, and fear she felt during and
after the elections of 2013. While it was one of the bloodiest election with
hundreds of party workers losing their lives it also saw participation of
thousands of people with so much hope. This is a tribute to the resilient
people of Pakistan especially those who participated in this election with
clear and present danger. With limited options available they decided with best
interest for a better Pakistan. It is a celebration of this moment when one
democratic government has been peacefully transferred to the new one.
